Maxi-Cosi Mura 3 Review
Built to last, Maxi-Cosi have been the revolutionary car seat makers since we can remember and since they’ve tried their hand at pushchairs – they’re not so bad at that either! We couldn’t wait to get our hands on the famous brands strollers and as soon as we did, we wondered why we hadn’t sooner.
This stroller is also available in a 4-wheel version, the Maxi- Cosi Mura Plus 4 (from £344.99) is available in Modern Black and has all the great features of the Mura Plus 3 but with that extra wheel.
The seat unit is extremely large and can carry a child up to the age of 3.5 years. We loved just how wide it was allowing for our child to shuffle their bottom about, it’s great for slightly bigger children or ones that just love their own space. The 3 recline positions are ideal for sleepyheads, in both rear facing and forward-facing positions. It’s a simple one-hand motion that allows the stroller to take a child from birth. Reversing the seat unit is ever so easy, a lever at the rear of the seat just has to be pulled and the unit can be taken off. It’s ideal for children that prefer to face whoever is pushing the stroller or just want some privacy to nod off.
The seat unit can hold up to 15kg which is approximately the weight of a 3 – 4-year-old. It’s soft and spacious seat unit which had plenty of space for our child to grow. A T-Bar that sits in the seat unit stops your child from slipping. It’s a great accessory that can be popped in and out along with your child. Easy access to your child never came easier.
With foam filled wheels you’ll never get a flat tyre with the Mura Plus 3. No more having to carry around a puncture repair kit or inner tube again – yippee! We love the fact that the wheels will last for such a long time; it’s a great added bonus. It’s easy to push and seems to simply glide across harder terrain, this is ideal for city living parents and those that prefer a rougher terrain walk.
